Title : "Together We Suffer"
In line with the theme of "Suffering Together" taken from 2 Timothy 2:3, the youth fellowship
organised an object lesson to teach of the importance of suffering together as a church. Two groups
were called to vote on three challenges; namely dancing, miming and rhythm. The item that gets the least
votes have to be performed by the group.
Summary
In suffering together as
a church and not as individuals, we will be doing well in carrying each others burdens as said by Paul in his
letter to Galatians:
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2
In carrying each others burdens, we are demonstrating the act of love for our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
This in turn is a fulfillment of the command which Christ gave to the twelve disciples in John 13:34-35:
'A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.'
John 13:34-35
